1) ARC Services will take all reasonable care and precautions to ensure the safety of your item(s) while they remain under our care. ARC services is not liable for claims arising from injury, loss or damage due to conditions or circumstances beyond our control.

2) Payment for work undertaken must be received in full before the item(s) can be collected.

3) Payment must be made within four (4) weeks of notification of work completion unless other arrangements have been agreed upon by both parties. After four (4) weeks of the invoice date we may charge a fee of 1.5% per month of the invoice value. A storage fee may also be applied at current commercial rates. If the item is not reclaimed after a further six (6) months ARC Services may sell the item to reclaim storage and restoration costs.

4) Any item(s) left with ARC Services for quotation purposes must be reclaimed within four (4) weeks of the quotation if the quotation is not accepted. After 4 weeks a storage fee may be applied at commercial rates. If the item is not claimed after six (6) months ARC Services may dispose of the item to reclaim storage costs.

5) Quotes are valid for a period of four (4) weeks from the date of issue.

6) GST at 10% is applied to all work undertaken.

7) If a quote is accepted, and the client subsequently decides not to proceed after the work has already commenced we will only charge for the costs (materials and time employed) up to the date of notification.

8) Quotations are based on the preliminary examination. If upon further examination it becomes evident that the damage extends further than expected, a second quote will be prepared and the customer will be immediately notified.  ARC services will seek customer approval before proceeding with further work.

9) We often take videos and photographs of the items being restored. These may be used by us for training, presentations, articles and blogs on our website and/or brochures.

10) We will remedy any defect or deterioration arising from our conservation work if, in our opinion, has occurred prematurely. Due to the nature of the items being restored, and due to environmental influences, there are numerous factors outside our control.

11) ARC Services respect our clients privacy and will not divulge names, phone numbers, email addresses or any other private information to third parties.
